The following are the different divisions that make up the entire agency.Accounting & Finance The Division of Business & Finance is responsible for establishing Statewide accounting policies and procedures, administering the Statewide Payroll, preparing financial reports, and providing technical assistance and other management advisory services. Health insurance information, retiree packages, employee resources regarding health, and flex spending accounts are handled by this department. LEARN MORE General Services The General Services Division (GSD) provides a variety of business operations, planning, and construction oversight to agencies, boards, commissions, and other ADOA divisions. LEARN MORE Human Resources & Employment The Human Resources Division (HRD) handles information regarding career resources and state employment. Topics ranging from job applications, employee training, and employee records are handled by this department. LEARN MORE Procurement The State Procurement Office (SPO) serves as the State’s central procurement authority and is responsible for the authorization, oversight, and management of the contracting and purchasing activities of the State. LEARN MORE Regulatory Review Council The Council reviews Arizona regulations to ensure that they are necessary and to avoid duplication and adverse impact on the public. The Council also assesses whether Arizona regulations are beneficial, clear, consistent with legislative intent, legal, and within the agency’s statutory authority. LEARN MORE Risk Management The State Risk Management Office provides statewide management responsibilities for the following programs: Property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims management, loss prevention, environmental remediation, excess insurance, and risk financing. LEARN MORE School Facilities Oversight The School Facilities Division is charged with adopting rules establishing minimum school facility guidelines, assessing school buildings, and providing monies to bring the buildings up to standard. LEARN MORE Technology The Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) Office develops and executes the statewide information technology strategy, while also providing capabilities, services, and infrastructure to ensure the continuity of mission-critical and essential systems.
